Job summary

Concast Precast Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join a growing design team. The role focuses on designing precast concrete structures, producing accurate calculations and production drawings for live projects across Ireland and the UK.

You will attend client meetings, liaise with design teams, and oversee general arrangements and layouts, working closely with production personnel to ensure project requirements are met with high accuracy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in engineering.
• Proven record in the precast concrete sector.
• Excellent CAD skills.
• Ability to achieve high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing precast concrete structures and preparing design calculations.
• Attending client meetings at both pre and post contract stage.
• Liaising with client design team in relation to live projects.
• Overseeing the production of general arrangements and layouts.
• Liaising with production personnel on daily basis.
• Creating accurate production drawings in line with project requirements.

SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - PRECAST CONCRETE Concast seek a Senior Design Engineer, to join their expanding design team in Dublin. Established in 1975, Concast are leading precast concrete design and manufacturers, working on major structures in Ireland and the UK such as car parks, office blocks, retail centres, marina, civil structures and sports stadia. (Design office is in West Dublin). The successful candidate will ideally: Degree qualification in engineering Proven record in the precast concrete sector Excellent CAD skills Ability to achieve high level of accuracy Excellent communication skills required Key activities for the role includes: Designing precast concrete structures and preparing design calculations Attending client meetings at both pre and post contract stage Liaising with client design team in relation to live projects Overseeing the production of general arrangements and layouts Liaising with production personnel on daily basis Creating accurate production drawings in line with project requirements.
