Job summary

Web Summit is seeking a native Mandarin speaker to join the Speakers Team in a fast-paced, globally connected role. You will attract and engage speakers, conduct in-depth research, and manage high-level outreach to ensure compelling pitches for our marquee events.

You will coordinate with logistics, craft session concepts, and maintain speaker data while traveling as needed to deliver world-class conferences across our hybrid model in Dublin, Lisbon or Porto.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Mandarin are essential.
• Experience in PR, talent agency, journalism, events, TV, or hospitality is advantageous.
• Strong writing and presenting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive speaker outreach and engagement for Web Summit.
• Conduct in-depth research on potential speakers and their needs.
• Manage pitch outreach with high-level communication.
• Assist with session concept pitches and narratives.
• Maintain speaker data and scheduling coordination for high-profile guests.
• Prepare briefings for VIP meetings to ensure goals are met.
• Travel for events, including trips within China and standard event travel.
