Job summary

Abrivia Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Finance Manager for our insurance-focused team in Dublin. The role is permanent and hybrid, with 1-2 days in-office, offering exposure to global insurance clients and a platform to build outsourced finance operations.

You will lead financial reporting and compliance, mentor colleagues, and support business development within a high-performing finance function.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in the insurance sector (audit or in-house).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
• Background in consulting, shared services, or BPO is a strong advantage.
• Power BI or Excel automation experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance services for insurance clients.
• Build strong client relationships and advise senior finance stakeholders.
• Provide practical accounting guidance under IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP.
• Identify and drive improvements in finance processes, reporting, and automation.
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
• Contribute to business development and help shape the future direction of the team.

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is hiring a Finance Manager to join their specialist insurance team. This is a high-impact role with exposure to global insurance clients, particularly in the US, and the opportunity to help build out a new platform for outsourced finance operations.
