Job summary

Abrivia Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an Assistant Manager for an insurance financial reporting role in Dublin. You will support financial reporting, compliance and operational finance for insurance clients and mentor junior staff.

You will provide IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP guidance, identify process improvements, and help build a new platform for outsourced finance operations with a team that collaborates across borders.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 2+ years in the insurance sector (audit or in-house).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Irish/UK GAAP and financial reporting.
• Background in consulting, shared services or BPO is advantageous.
• Experience with Power BI or Excel automation is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of financial reporting, compliance and operational finance services for insurance clients.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted contact for finance stakeholders.
• Provide practical accounting guidance under IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP.
