Zusammenfassung

Ashgrove Renewables, based at our Mallow HQ in Ireland, seeks a qualified or part-qualified accountant to own management reporting, cost control and financial analysis. You’ll work with the Financial Controller and operations teams to drive smarter finance processes and commercial insight.

The role covers multi-revenue streams, grant cash flows and project-based accounting. Candidates with a solid background in project finance and a keen eye for accuracy will thrive in a fast-growing renewable

Qualifikationen

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA.
• At least three years’ finance experience, including monthly management accounts.
• Solid background in management/financial accounting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build financial models.
• Ability to analyze variances, trends and provide clear management insights.
• Commercial mindset and capability to support non-finance teams.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Post month-end accruals, prepayments and journals; reconcile balances.
• Analyse actuals vs. budget/forecast; explain variances to management.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for senior management and Board.
• Reconcile inventory with general ledger; investigate material differences.
• Monitor project costing, margins, and cash flows across revenue streams.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Assist with VAT, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes.
• Partner with Operations to provide commercial and financial support.
