Job summary

Talent-Curve is seeking a Commercial Management Accountant in Monaghan to join a growing business. You will prepare management accounts and lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, turning data into commercial insights for senior management.

You’ll work with Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain to improve profitability, efficiency and cost control. The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel and modelling

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management accounting/finance experience.
• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Manufacturing or food production experience desirable.
• Power BI experience would be an advantage.

Commercial Management Accountant

Monaghan Salary: €60-70k (DOE)

Are you aManagement Accountant who wants more than just month-end reporting? Were looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join a growing business, working closely with the Head of Finance and Senior Management Team to turn financial data into meaningful commercial decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of the numbers, working closely with Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain, and having a real influence on business performance.

The role

Prepare management accounts and month-end reporting. Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to senior management. Analyse product costs, yields, margins and stock. Support commercial decision-making with financial modelling and scenario analysis. Work closely with Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain teams. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and cost control. Use Excel and ERP systems to analyse and present financial information. Support continuous improvement and wider finance projects.

About you

Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. 3+ years relevant management accounting/finance experience. Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience. Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills. Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Commercially aware, analytical and confident working with non-financial teams. Experience using ERP/accounting systems. Manufacturing or food production experience is highly desirable. Power BI/business intelligence experience would be an advantage.
