Job summary

Talent-Curve in Monaghan is seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst who can turn financial data into commercial insight. You will prepare monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and work closely with the Head of Finance and senior management. The role demands 3+ years in finance, ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, strong Excel and modelling skills, plus ERP experience.

Power BI is a plus. This hands-on position offers exposure to manufacturing/ FMCG settings and real business

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 3+ years' relevant finance/management accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with management accounts, budgets and forecasting.
• Commercial and analytical mindset.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders.
• ERP experience.
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience would be a bonus.
• Power BI experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end reporting
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Analyse product costs, yields and stock performance
• Build reports and financial models using Excel
• Provide commercial insight to support business decisions
• Work closely with senior management and non-financial teams
• Support continuous improvement across financial reporting and processes
• Use ERP systems and reporting tools to analyse business performance
