Job summary

Osborne Recruitment is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the North Wicklow-based team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The role will lead finance processes and provide robust financial oversight.

The position is hybrid with hours 9am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will handle payroll, month-end close, VAT and company tax obligations, and collaborate with the CEO on financial planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 2–4 years’ PQE in management accounting.
• Experience with Irish payroll and tax obligations.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Sage.

Responsibilities

• Payment processing and banking administration.
• Month-end reconciliations and journals; monthly management accounts.
• Management of payroll across Ireland & UK, including commissions and bonuses.
• Calculate and pay payroll and tax obligations to Revenue.
• VAT and corporation tax returns; ROS creditors and debtors.
• AP/AR management and supplier queries.
• Year-end reporting and director sign-off; ad-hoc duties.

Management Accountant

A leading property services company is currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their high performing North-Wicklow-based team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

Salary:€55,000 - €65,000 DOE
Hours:9am to 5:30pm (Mon to Fri, Hybrid)

Contract: 12 months
The successful candidate will benefit from an extended 2-month handover period in which they will receive training for this lead finance role in the organisation, including month-end and year-end processes, as well as other aspects of the position.

Role and Responsibilities

As Management Accountant you can expect to be involved in:

• Payment processing and banking administration
• Month-end reconciliations and journals, monthly management accounts preparation
• Management of Ireland & UK payroll process, including calculation of commissions and bonuses
• Calculation & payment of payroll and tax obligations to Revenue
• VAT returns (quarterly), Corporation Tax returns, ROS creditors & debtors
• Managing AP/AR and supplier queries.
• Year-end reporting, filing of annual returns and ensuring Director sign-off
• Other ad-hoc duties relating to service renewals, contract review, HR matters and ongoing projects.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with between 2-4 years’ PQE in a varied Management accounting role incorporating all or most of the above.
• Comfortable working closely with CEO
• Experience working with Irish payroll and Tax obligations.
• Familiarity with Sage and advanced Excel
• Demonstrable organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload.
