Job summary

CWS Cleanrooms seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Spiddal, Co. Galway. If you have a passion for problem-solving and preventative maintenance, you will help support production in a fast-paced environment.

This permanent, full-time role offers exposure to GMP, cleanroom standards, and H&S practices, with collaboration across mechanical and electrical maintenance, ensuring reliable, compliant facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and/or trades experience (Electrical, Fitter, Plumber, etc.)
• Experience in a similar role or industry
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance is an advantage
• Familiarity with GMP, cleanroom processes, and H&S standards is an advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults (AC/DC motors, circuits, etc.)
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify issues before they
• Support external contractors, ensuring safe work practices are followed
• Maintain up-to-date records, manuals, and calibration labels for equipment
• Collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with internal H&S standards and safety procedures

Hours of Work

This is a full-time onsite position based in Spiddal, Monday to Friday

*Flexibility is also important, as the role may involves the occasional weekend work and varying hours.
