Job summary

CWS Cleanrooms in Dublin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at Fonthill. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, with a focus on GMP and cleanroom standards.

Ideal candidates hold relevant trades qualifications (Electrical, Fitter, Plumber) and have experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, and willingness to work shifts including evenings.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and/or trades experience (Electrical, Fitter, Plumber, etc.).
• Experience in a similar role or industry.
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GMP, cleanroom processes, and H&S standards is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults (AC/DC motors, circuits, etc.).
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify issues before they elevate.
• Support external contractors, ensuring safe work practices are followed.
• Maintain up-to-date records, manuals, and calibration labels for equipment.
• Collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal H&S standards and safety procedures.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time onsite position based in Fonthill, Dublin

Monday to Friday Evening shift: 14.30 - 23.00

*Flexibility is also important, as the role may involves the occasional weekend work and varying hours.
