Job summary

Litec Moulding Ltd (Lindal Group) in Ireland seeks a Maintenance Engineer to contribute to plant maintenance and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with Production, implementing preventive programs for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, and driving root-cause analyses with the team.

The ideal candidate has formal engineering qualifications, hands-on multi-system experience, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC programming advantageous.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent time and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote high standards in health and safety and housekeeping.
• Liaise with Production on maintenance issues to keep plant/equipment at highest standard.
• Establish and implement a Preventive Maintenance Programme for all plant/equipment.
• Prioritise work to maximize return based on company targets.
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports with supervisor/management.
• Promote a teamwork culture within the facility.
• Ensure documentation per company procedures is completed.
• Identify Hazards and Risk and report/mitigate per procedures.
