Job summary

Litec Moulding Ltd (Lindal Group) in Sligo, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on maintaining and improving plant performance, safety, and housekeeping within the maintenance team.

You will implement preventive maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, liaise with production, and contribute to root cause analyses while promoting teamwork and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC programming would be a distinct advantage.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote high standards in health and safety and housekeeping.
• Liaise with Production on maintenance issues ensuring plant/equipment is kept to high standards.
• Establish and implement a Preventive Maintenance Programme for all Plant/equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Prioritise work to give the best return based on company targets.
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports with Supervisor and Management.
• Promote a teamwork culture within the facility.
• Ensure all documentation is filled out per procedures.
• Identify Hazards and Risk and report/mitigate per procedures.
