Job summary

Cpl Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will support preventative and predictive maintenance programmes, carry out effective maintenance routines and repairs, and ensure maximum availability and reliability of site equipment.

You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Process Engineering, Facilities, contractors and suppliers to minimise downtime and support efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic fault finding/repair.
• Knowledge of robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshooting vision systems.
• Knowledge of Windows networking.
• Some programming experience.
• PLCs, drives and HMIs knowledge.
• Experience in FDA-regulated GMP environments.
• Experience in cleanrooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to designated manufacturing areas and maximise equipment uptime.
• Perform preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Support Facilities and liaise with external contractors as required.
• Contribute to reliability-centred maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Support MTTR and MTBF targets and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and GMP requirements.
