Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a beverage manufacturer in Kildare. You will maintain equipment, perform troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, a fitting or mechatronics qualification, and PLC/SCADA knowledge. You will log work in CMMS and contribute to RCA and PM improvements. A competitive package includes pension, healthcare, and a discretionary bonus.

Our client is a quickly expanding beverage manufacturer who are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Kildare. This company has seen steady growth in recent years producing market leading products and would be a great opportunity for an experienced technician with strong fitting/mechatronic skills to work in a highly regulated environment.

About the Position

• As Maintenance Technician, your job will be maintaining equipment and conducting troubleshooting in line with relevant standards.
• Minimising equipment downtime through efficient RCA.
• Suggesting and executing improvement to the site’s preventative maintenance programme.
• Mechanical repairs to PLC-controlled equipment involving pneumatic/hydraulic control systems.
• Ensuring work is logged appropriately on the CMMS.
• Any other responsibilities as required.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Maintenance Technician job you will have 5+ years’ experience in a similar position within a manufacturing setting.
• You will also have a relevant qualification in fitting or mechatronics and PLC/SCADA knowledge.
