Job summary

AbbVie, Carraigtwohill in Ireland is recruiting a Maintenance Excellence Planner to support the engineering function and help meet production targets. You will plan maintenance activities in the CMMS, lead the maintenance planning program for site equipment and utilities, and assist engineers with scheduling, tools, materials and permits.

You will implement compliant maintenance programs, monitor plant systems, manage work orders and spare parts, and drive KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a relevant area and experience in a similar role is required.
• Self-motivated with a high level of autonomy.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance activities using the CMMS.
• Lead and execute the Maintenance Planning program for site equipment and utilities.
• Support engineers with planning and preparing for maintenance, ensuring tools, materials and permits are available.
• Implement programs to ensure plant maintenance is performed compliantly.
• Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Maintain a maintenance management system for work orders, spare parts and history.
• Track and analyze KPI parameters of the Maintenance Excellence Program.
• Ensure sufficient spare parts inventories and initiate reorders.
• Adhere to safety standards and policies on site.
• Proficient in Maximo and related CMMS usage.
• Manage department purchasing to reduce costs and add value.
• Oversee Engineering Change Control processes to prevent non-conformances.
• Collaborate with EHS to ensure staff and contractor safety.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
