Job summary

Catalyx is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead design, commissioning and validation of machine vision and automation solutions for its blue-chip client base in Ireland. You will collaborate with Sales on pre-sales activities, ensure regulatory alignment (FDA/GAMP), and drive projects across engineering, operations, quality and product development.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge automation, software deployment and project management, with travel within Ireland and occasional abroad.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of FDA/GAMP regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, commission and validation of vision, electrical, software and automation elements at customer site.
• Support sales with pre-sales site surveys and quotes.
• Interpret customer URS and feed into technical solutions and costing.
• Coordinate with sales to ensure complete, accurate quotations.
