Job summary

Catalyx is seeking an Automation Engineer in Ireland to lead design, commissioning and validation of machine vision solutions for regulated industries. You will support pre-sales activities, prepare accurate quotations and coordinate with customers and suppliers at site or at the machine builder facility.

The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, experience with PLCs and machine vision hardware, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with multi-discipline projects.
• Knowledge of FDA and GAMP regulatory practices.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, commissioning and validation of machine vision solutions.
• Assist sales with pre-sales site surveys and quotes.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to cost and deliver projects.
• Travel within Ireland and occasionally abroad as required.
• Develop and maintain regulatory documents and functional specifications.
