Job summary

Lumen Search Ltd. is seeking an M&E Coordinator to support a main contractor with a diverse Leinster project mix. The role involves hands-on site involvement, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors to drive building services through to handover.

You will work across healthcare, residential, commercial and education sectors, ensuring timely design queries, procurement planning, and quality checks. A driving licence and travel between sites are expected.

Qualifications

• A qualification in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in M&E coordination or a similar building services role.
• Experience with a main contractor, M&E contractor or engineering consultancy.
• Good understanding of building services installation and commissioning.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and communicate clearly with site and design teams.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical works with site teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review drawings and technical information, raising design queries and resolving issues before they delay installation.
• Keep track of M&E subcontractor progress against the construction programme.
• Help plan the procurement of plant, equipment and materials needed on site.
• Check the quality of installations and work with the team to close out defects.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, certification and handover of building services.
• Provide M&E input during pre-construction when required.
