Job summary

Steering Point in Dublin seeks a Director of M&A to originate, lead and manage transactions end-to-end, working closely with clients to tailor the best approach. You will communicate progress and risks to stakeholders and mentor junior team members, while expanding external relationships to support origination efforts.

The role requires a proven track record on Irish/UK M&A, CA qualification, and strong financial and commercial analysis skills to deliver high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven end-to-end M&A experience in Irish/UK market.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Strong communication with key stakeholders.
• High level of commercial acumen.
• Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis.
• Identify key issues and propose workable solutions.
• Experience presenting findings to clients.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Originate, lead and manage M&A transactions from cradle to grave.
• Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and shape the approach.
