Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join the on-site Maintenance team. You will help keep the hotel, estate and grounds to the highest standards, reporting to the Property Manager.

The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, boilers and painting, with a proactive, independent work approach and a focus on problem solving to maintain a luxury guest experience.

Qualifications

• Practical and proactive candidate with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in plumbing and general maintenance is required.
• Good knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, carpentry, boilers and painting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and general maintenance across the property.
• Repair and replace equipment and components as needed.
• Monitor building systems for efficient operation and safety.
• Perform plumbing, pipework installation and general repairs.
• Paint, decorate and carry out carpentry or plaster tasks as required.
• Support the wider maintenance team with estate care.
