Job summary

The Johnstown Estate is seeking a capable supervisor for our conference and banqueting events. You will lead the C&B team, oversee setup, and coordinate with kitchen and other departments to deliver a polished guest experience.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in hospitality or events, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as required by events.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or events.
• Knowledge of event planning and banqueting procedures.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations for events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and setting up conference and banqueting events to spec.
• Supervise daily C&B team operations, brief staff and allocate duties.
• Coordinate with Events Coordinator, Kitchen and other departments for smooth events.
• Deliver luxury guest service and handle feedback professionally.
• Ensure adherence to hotel service standards and safety regulations.
• Oversee post-event reset and inventory of event supplies.
