Job summary

Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, is recruiting Food & Beverage Assistants to join The Morrison Room team at our five-star resort in Ireland. This is a hospitality role within a Michelin-starred setting, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will warmly greet guests, knowledgeably present the menu, and support service with attention to detail. A minimum of 1 year in a similar role at a Michelin-starred or luxury venue is required. Meals, uniform, and parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of luxury hotel and fine dining operations.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills in English.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a Michelin-starred restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-end fine dining establishment.
• Highly organized with a structured approach to service preparation and planning.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and attend to them in a professional manner.
• Represent Carton House's passion for customer service and ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Be familiar with the menu, specials, ingredients, and wine list.
• Upsell through sales and promotional activity where possible.
• Serve Food and Beverage products efficiently and in presentation.
• Carry out cash handling procedures according to policy.
