Job summary

SEI Investments seeks an Assistant Manager, Loan Operations to lead the daily running of the loan operations function. You will oversee workflows, allocate resources, and ensure timely, accurate client deliverables while maintaining strong controls.

You will help optimize processes, automate workloads and support a growing private credit and syndicated loan business, working in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in fund administration, investment operations or loan servicing.
• Strong Excel capability; experience with Power BI, Alteryx, and automation desirable.
• Experience leading people or workflows in supervisory or assistant-manager roles.
• Practical knowledge of loan structures, lifecycle events and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflows, work allocation and client deliverables.
• Support Manager with resource planning, capacity management and cross-training.
• Review complex loan lifecycle events and provide escalation support.
• Maintain loan data in Geneva and related platforms with accurate identifiers and balances.
• Coordinate with investment managers, banks and teams to resolve data-quality issues.
• Monitor exceptions, document root causes and escalate material risks.
• Perform quality reviews with audit trails and segregation of duties.
• Maintain and enhance procedures, reports and client communications.
• Contribute to onboarding, conversions and change initiatives; test and implement changes.
• Identify ways to improve straight-through processing and control effectiveness through automation.
