Job summary

Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Wicklow is seeking a dedicated Linen Porter to join our Housekeeping team. The role involves delivering clean linen to accommodation stores, collecting soiled linen, and assisting with room turnovers to maintain high standards for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, good English communication, and a reliable, professional approach. Weekend and bank holiday work is required in this busy 5-star property.

Qualifications

• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional.
• Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Minimum of 1 year's relevant experience.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Porter or Linen Porter in a hotel environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responding to guest requests.
• Delivering clean linen to accommodation stores and collecting soiled linen from accommodation hallways.
• Checking the quality and accuracy of linen deliveries and ensuring linen is stored correctly.
• Assisting with room turnovers, teardowns and other Housekeeping services, including stripping beds when required.
• Completing daily side work and deep-cleaning duties, including vacuuming and mopping.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Reporting and communicating maintenance issues clearly to the Maintenance Team.
• Working closely with the wider Housekeeping team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

About the Role

The Accommodation Linen Porter plays an important role in supporting our Housekeeping team.

This position involves weekend and bank holiday work.
