Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests.
• Deliver clean linen to accommodation stores and collect soiled linen.
• Check linen quality and ensure proper storage.
• Assist with room turnovers and teardowns, and other housekeeping duties.
• Complete daily side work and deep-cleaning tasks (vacuuming, mopping).
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Report maintenance issues clearly to the Maintenance Team.
• Work with the housekeeping team to deliver a memorable guest experience.

About The Role

The Accommodation Linen Porter plays an important role in supporting our Housekeeping team.

This position involves weekend and bank holiday work.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a confident, organised and motivated individual who:

• Has excellent attention to detail
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is reliable, hardworking and professional
• Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Has a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Porter or Linen Porter in a hotel environment is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities

As an Accommodation Linen Porter, your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to guest requests
• Delivering clean linen to accommodation stores and collecting soiled linen from accommodation hallways
• Checking the quality and accuracy of linen deliveries and ensuring linen is stored correctly
• Assisting with room turnovers, teardowns and other Housekeeping services, including stripping beds when required
• Completing daily side work and deep-cleaning duties, including vacuuming and mopping
• Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel
• Reporting and communicating maintenance issues clearly to the Maintenance Team
• Working closely with the wider Housekeeping team to ensure an exceptional guest experience
