SpringHill Hotel in Kilkenny is seeking a Linen Porter to join our team. The role requires full flexibility, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential for consideration.

Responsibilities include collecting and transporting linens, restocking linens for housekeeping, maintaining clean linen rooms, and supporting housekeeping staff. We offer complimentary meals, on-site parking, and discounted employee accommodation and family rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and transport soiled linens from guest rooms and service areas to the laundry facility.
• Distribute clean linens to housekeeping storage areas and ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
• Organize and maintain linen rooms in a clean, tidy, and orderly condition.
• Assist housekeeping staff with linen-related requests promptly.
• Monitor linen inventory and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling and care of linens to minimize loss and damage.
• Operate laundry equipment safely if required (in-house laundry).
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties when needed.
