Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork is seeking a Lifeguard / Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team and help create a safe, welcoming environment for guests and leisure members.

You will supervise the pool area, uphold safety standards and engage with members and guests while maintaining a clean and presentable leisure space. If you’re a qualified lifeguard who values safety and excellent service, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Qualification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident dealing with members, hotel guests and the general public.
• Strong understanding of pool safety, health & safety and emergency procedures.
• Calm, professional and able to respond appropriately in an emergency.
• Reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Positive, helpful and enjoy working as part of a team, while also being comfortable working independently.
• Pride in maintaining a clean, safe and presentable leisure environment.
• Genuinely customer-focused and want to make a positive difference to the experience of our members and guests.

Responsibilities

• As a Leisure Centre Attendant, you’ll help ensure the safe and smooth day-to-day operation of the leisure centre.
• You’ll supervise the pool area, maintain safety standards, assist and engage with members and guests, respond to emergencies when required and ensure the leisure facilities are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.
