Job summary

Windward Management's Connemara Coast Hotel in Ireland is seeking a Leisure Centre Attendant with midweek availability to join our guest-focused team. You will help operate the leisure facilities, ensure guest safety, maintain pool and gym areas, and assist members with equipment and queries.

The successful candidate will hold Lifeguard qualifications, with Swim Teacher or gym/instructor qualifications as desirable assets.

Qualifications

Swim Teacher qualification desirable.
ITEC/NCEF Gym Instructor qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Ensure leisure centre operates efficiently and provides excellent service.
Ensure safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
Maintain pool and leisure areas to required standards and health & safety regs.
Assist guests using exercise equipment and ensure comfort.
Clean reception and leisure areas to hygiene standards daily.
Record maintenance within leisure areas.
Demonstrate excellent guest care at all times.
Handle customer queries, requests and complaints per hotel procedures.

Leisure Centre Attendant (Midweek Availability)

The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the vacant post of Leisure Centre Attendant.

Excellent organisational and leadership skills,a commitment to high standards, attention to detail, the drive anddetermination to be successful along with displayinga passion for the industry will mark out the successful candidate.

The Role Entails the following Duties:

To ensure the Leisure Centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our guests and members with an excellent service.
To ensure the safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
To ensure the swimming pool and leisure area is cleaned and maintained to the required standards and Health and Safety regulatory standards.
To assist persons attending the club, ensuring all are comfortable with the exercise equipment.
To ensure the reception and leisure area is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and dusted daily to hygiene standards.
To comply with all fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.
To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.
To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the hotel's procedures.
