Job summary

Faithlegg Leisure Centre in Waterford seeks a lifeguard/guest services assistant. You will deliver friendly service, welcome guests, assist in swim lessons, and keep facilities clean. Flex shifts include mornings and evenings, 3–5 shifts weekly, with qualifications in lifeguarding and first aid preferred.

Desirable NSSPC or fitness instructor qualifications; prior swim teaching experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• IWS/ILAM pool lifeguard or equivalent qualification required or desirable.
• NSSPC and fitness instructor qualifications desirable.
• Qualified First Aider with guest care focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, courteous service to all guests.
• Ensure guests are warmly welcomed and orders taken efficiently.
• Assist in swim lessons and other classes as required.
• Be familiar with product offering and services.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the leisure centre.
• Follow flexible shift patterns; morning/evening, 3–5 shifts per week.
