Job summary

The Clanree Hotel is seeking Leisure Centre Attendants to join our friendly team in Ireland. You will help maintain a clean, safe leisure facility and provide a welcoming service to guests and members.

Responsibilities include gym supervision, reception tasks, and promoting memberships, with training provided to stay current on safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
• A friendly and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• A recognised Pool Lifeguard, First Aid, or Fitness Instructor qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Leisure Centre to highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
• Enforce health & safety regulations and hygiene procedures.
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and helpful service to members and guests.
• Supervise and assist gym members, ensuring safe use of equipment.
• Carry out reception duties: greet guests, answer queries, manage bookings, and sign-ups.
• Assist with sales and promotion of memberships and leisure services.
• Support daily operations of pool, gym, and facilities as required.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the Duty Manager.
• Participate in regular training to stay updated on safety procedures and customer service standards.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated individuals with a passion for customer service and fitness to join our leisure team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Leisure Centre is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
• Follow and enforce health & safety regulations and hygiene procedures throughout the facility.
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and helpful service to all members and guests.
• Supervise and assist members in the gym area, ensuring safe use of equipment and promoting good fitness practices.
• Carry out reception duties including greeting guests, answering queries, managing bookings, and handling membership sign-ups and renewals.
• Assist with sales and promotion of memberships and leisure services in a friendly, customer-focused manner.
• Support the daily operations of the pool, gym, and other leisure facilities as required.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Duty Manager.
• Participate in regular training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety procedures and customer service standards.
