The Brandon House Hotel is a well-established four-star hotel in the heart of New Ross, offering exceptional hospitality, leisure, and wellness facilities to both hotel guests and local members. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and motivated Assistant Leisure Centre Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our leisure centre and help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Assist in the management and daily operation of the leisure centre, including the swimming pool, gym, and changing facilities.
Support the Leisure Centre Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the leisure centre team.
Ensure the highest standards of customer service are consistently maintained.
Monitor health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Handle member and guest enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Support membership sales and retention initiatives.
Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards throughout the facility.
Assist with stock control and ordering of leisure centre supplies.
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a leisure centre, fitness club, hotel, or similar environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a leisure environment.
Lifeguard qualification and/or fitness-related qualifications would be advantageous.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
