Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to run projects end-to-end, coordinating with engineering and Business Technology partners while tailoring delivery methodologies to client needs. You will manage roadmaps, track dependencies, and ensure clear reporting on project health across the programme.

The role requires PMP/PRINCE2 with Agile certifications, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification with Agile certification.
• Experience with multiple delivery methodologies and the ability to adapt.
• Technical background to engage credibly with engineering partners.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in resource management and forecasting.
• Ability to lead change initiatives and coach team members.
• Proven conflict resolution and governance capabilities.
• Proficiency in using standard project management dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from initiation through to delivery.
• Own the roadmap for the project, coordinating with engineering and BT partners.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Maintain project and task management systems with accurate status.
• Define, track and report on project benefits and resource forecasting.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, compliance, operations and vendors.
• Provide health reporting (RAG, delivery confidence) to leadership.
• Record decisions, dependencies and lessons learned for continuity.
• Support junior team members and project contributors.
• Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies with mitigations.
