Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Delivery Lead to oversee complex transformation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring outcomes align with business objectives. You will manage budgets, timelines and risks while delivering measurable value for energy sector clients.

The role requires 5+ years in delivery of technology projects, strong leadership and stakeholder communication, and experience with waterfall and agile methodologies. A PMP/Prince2-like qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in delivery and leading technology projects through the full delivery life cycle.
• Professional qualification in project management (e.g. PMP, Prince2).
• Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and manage people within own reporting line and across wider teams.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Experience delivering projects in electricity, energy or utilities sector desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality projects and programmes.
• Lead a multi-functional team, coordinating delivery activities across the project lifecycle.
• Provide functional and technical management to support design and implementation.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting and capacity planning.
• Track and manage project financials to stay aligned with objectives.
• Integrated project and programme planning.
• Management of delivery risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
• Provide status reporting and communication to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and objectives.
• Develop relationships with clients to identify opportunity for value.
• Support sales and solution planning, timeline, estimates and team structure.
