Job summary

Re-turn, Ireland's Deposit Return Scheme operator, is seeking a qualified solicitor to join our small but growing legal team. You’ll provide commercial and regulatory advice, draft and negotiate contracts, and help shape governance and compliance across the scheme.

Based in Clondalkin, hybrid work, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners and stay ahead of Irish and EU regulatory developments. PQE 3–7 years in a top-tier firm or in-house preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 3–7 years PQE in a top-tier law firm or in‑house environment.
• Broad generalist experience across commercial contracts, governance and regulatory matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, research and analytical skills.
• Commercial judgment and business partnering capability with strong communication and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive legal advice aligned with Re-turn’s obligations and objectives as operator of Ireland’s national Deposit Return Scheme.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers, retailers and technology partners.
• Maintain and improve contract management processes, templates and playbooks.
• Support compliance, risk, investigations and regulatory matters.
• Work with Operations, Finance, People & Culture, IT and Marketing to provide timely legal input.
