Job summary

RBK Chartered Accountants is recruiting a Continuous Improvement Manager in Athlone to drive lean initiatives across workshop floors, CVRT testing lines and parts logistics. The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving throughput and embedding a sustainable Lean culture through KPI tracking and cross-functional coaching.

The candidate should bring 3–5 years of automotive CI experience, Lean/Six Sigma credentials, and hands-on leadership on the shop floor with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification or equivalent Kaizen/Six Sigma leadership.
• Experience leading continuous improvement in automotive workshop environments.
• Proficiency with data visualization and dashboard tools (Power BI, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end vehicle service workflows to identify bottlenecks and reduce VOR time.
• Implement and standardise 5S in repair bays and diagnostic stations.
• Partner with Parts to implement Kanban/pull systems and reduce delays.
• Analyse CVRT throughput and balance testing lane capacity.
• Lead Kaizen initiatives and coach teams in root-cause problem solving.
