Job summary

EFOR Group in Waterford, Ireland, is hiring a Visual Inspection Consultant to join a global pharmaceutical manufacturer onsite. You will lead VI practices, update SOPs, and develop technical rationales to meet GxP standards, while coordinating with Quality and Production teams to close gaps in the defect library and AQL processes.

The role requires 5+ years of VI experience in parenteral manufacturing, strong technical writing, and the ability to influence stakeholders on VI improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in visual inspection within parenteral (sterile) manufacturing.
• Excellent written technical justification aligned with GxP standards.
• Ownership of VI SOPs, defect libraries, AQL sampling and inspector qualification.

Responsibilities

• Review site VI practices against corporate standards and update SOPs.
• Write technical rationales to GxP standards.
• Support defect library management and AQL approaches.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams on action plans.
• Serve as VI subject-matter expert on particle management.
• Influence stakeholders to embed lasting VI improvements.
