Job summary

Mastercard Cyber Security Services is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to play a pivotal leadership role in building new product functionality within a secure platform. You will develop world-class Java applications, contribute to feature planning, and guide a team of engineers to deliver scalable, reliable software.

You will need deep Java expertise, strong SAFe/Agile experience, and a background in cloud-native, microservices architectures using tools like PCF/Azure, Kafka, and Spring.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Java SDK 1.8 or greater.
• Deep knowledge of SAFe/Agile processes and software development lifecycles.
• Experience with backend Java applications and enterprise tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to develop high performance, high volume Java applications.
• Deliver solutions by providing direct development of software solutions.
• Assist with production support issues by acting as point-of-contact and SME.
• Collaborate with leads, engineers, and analysts to define features and user stories.
• Contribute to planning and development of software solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and perform code reviews.
