Stelfox IT Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to drive quality across .NET-based software products and AI-driven solutions. You will design test strategies, build automation, and partner with development teams to prevent defects.

This contract opportunity requires 8+ years of QA experience, strong .NET testing skills, API and database testing, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum. You’ll contribute to CI/CD and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing Irish tech

Qualifications

8+ years of software testing and QA experience.
Strong experience testing .NET / .NET Core applications.
Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong SQL skills and database testing experience.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
Work closely with .NET development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality automation initiatives.
Ensure software meets business, security, and performance requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Support testing of AI-powered applications, machine learning integrations, and intelligent automation solutions where applicable.
