Job summary

Fidelity in Galway, Ireland, seeks a Principal Product Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of portfolio management technology. You will partner with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape the roadmap and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions for portfolio managers, analysts and traders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, product owner, and/or product management.
• Data‑focused approach to understand customer requirements, propose solutions, and measure results.
• Experience in writing user/system stories and maintaining accurate technical documentation.
• Derive epics and end‑to‑end workflows that can be broken down into stories with well‑defined business value and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all teams.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives and capabilities to advance the Portfolio Management product vision while addressing partner needs.
• Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and ongoing collaboration to align business and technology teams.
• Support testing, QA, and user acceptance to ensure solutions meet requirements.
