PMIS LTD. is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer for a large-scale pharmaceutical project in Dublin with travel to Germany. You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate with QA, engineering, and operations, and drive on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Planning Engineer for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. This role focuses on developing and overseeing project schedules, managing planning activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project deliverables

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create and manage comprehensive project schedules that incorporate engineering, construction, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with quality assurance, engineering, and operational teams to ensure alignment of planning efforts with overall project goals
  • Monitor Progress: Track project progress and planning activities to identify potential delays or risks and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare Reports and Updates: Create and present detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in planning activities
  • Utilise Project Management Tools: Use project management software to track progress, analyse data, and ensure efficient execution of planning activities
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and implement best practices for effective scheduling
Required Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or project management certifications are preferred
  • 5+ years of project planning and scheduling experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector or similar projects
