Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist for a 45-hour permanent role, with store hours 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and Sunday off.

You will work alongside a small team to maintain professional standards and deliver high-quality patient care in the community. The successful candidate will be a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with post-registration experience and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years as a Supervising Pharmacist is advantageous.
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) with post-registration experience (min 3 years).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead and work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Observe statutory regulations regarding supply of medicines per Pharmacy Act 2007.
• Maintain professional standards in the community pharmacy.
• Participate in Health Promotion and pharmaceutical care programs.
• Engage in Continuing Education to support CPD requirements.
• Implement policies/procedures from Allcare Pharmacy and SOPs.
• Ensure stock control accuracy and proper documentation for dispensed goods.
• Maintain security of stock, premises, and staff safety with the pharmacy manager.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and protect confidential business information.
• Support store retail standards including category management, merchandising and stock control.
