Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Lead Software Engineer (.NET) in Ireland to steer the monolith-to-microservices modernization, owning architecture and delivery end-to-end. You will collaborate with Product and Architecture to translate business needs into practical plans, while coaching engineers and strengthening delivery processes.

The role involves guiding .NET Core services, databases, and integrations in a globally distributed environment, with a focus on quality, predictability, and performance

Qualifications

• Strong .NET engineering background with C#, .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience modernizing legacy monoliths into microservices and scalable architectures.
• Experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and delivery management using Jira.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the monolith-to-microservices modernization initiative.
• Guide architectural decisions across .NET Core services, databases, and frontend integrations.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for backend challenges, migrations, and performance.
• Improve delivery practices with Jira-based tracking and collaboration with QA.
