Job summary

InterContinental Dublin, part of the MHL Hotel Collection, invites applications for Restaurant Manager at The Lobby Lounge & Whiskey Bar, a landmark Dublin venue including the Reading Room and Afternoon Tea service.

The ideal candidate will lead a senior team, uphold luxury standards, oversee operations, collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu and beverage programs, and drive guest experiences in a globally renowned setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior restaurant management role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining setting.
• Strong background in leading large teams with multiple management layers.
• Proven ability to set and enforce standards of excellence while motivating teams to deliver guest experiences.
• Confident in operational management, scheduling, and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Extraordinary: oversee daily operations of the Lobby Lounge, Whiskey Bar, and Reading Room.
• Leadership & Structure: manage a full team with 2 Assistant Managers, 2 Supervisors, and Team Leaders.
• Guest Experience & Standards: ensure brand and service standards are met and exceed.
• Operational Excellence: oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory controls, and QA processes.
• Culinary & Beverage Collaboration: work with Executive Chef on menus and whiskey pairings.
• Marketing & Guest Engagement: collaborate with marketing on promotions and guest experiences.
• Reporting & Accountability: provide regular reporting to F&B leadership and directors.
