Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a security supervisor to lead a team and ensure day-to-day security operations, reporting to the client and coordinating training where needed. The role requires experience in security and supervisory duties, and possession of a valid PSA security licence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in security with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid Security Guarding PSA Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OCS security services with direct responsibility for day-to-day activities of your team.
• Meet your targets and those of the team.
• Ensure efficient running of the team.
• Identify training needs and deliver training to develop the team.
• Support Line Manager in meeting targets.
• Provide required data within agreed timescales.
• Report incidents directly to the client for timely resolution.
• Report maintenance issues to the client and ensure rectification.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering OCS security services to the client with direct responsibility for the day-to-day activities of your team
• Meet your targets and those of the team as a whole
• Efficient running of the team
• Identification of training needs and where necessary, delivery of training and the development of the team
• Assist your Line Manager in meeting agreed targets.
• Providing required data to your Line Manger within agreed timescales.
• Reporting incidents directly to the client to allow issues to be resolved effectively
• Report any maintenance issues to the client and ensure the issues are rectified

Essential Hiring Criteria

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Certifications

• Valid Security Guarding PSA Licence is required.
