Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to join a public sector client in Dublin. The role is on-site five days a week with hybrid elements and requires strong end-user computing expertise.

You will diagnose and resolve complex 2nd line ICT incidents, provide deskside and remote support, manage Microsoft 365 and device management, and coordinate with 3rd line teams while maintaining accurate documentation and asset records.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-user computing environments: desktops, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Experience supporting Intune, Autopilot, AD, Windows 11, device lifecycle management, and hybrid work environments.
• Hands-on deskside, field engineering and end-user support service delivery.
• Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and account administration.
• Experience with Cisco VoIP technologies: CUCM and Cisco Jabber.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Accept, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex 2nd Line ICT incidents.
• Provide deskside, remote and field-based end-user support.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications.
• Escalate and coordinate incidents with 3rd line teams.
• Assist with asset management and configuration records.
• Support hybrid and remote workers with remote troubleshooting and cloud device management.
• Maintain detailed ticket updates and resolutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
