Job summary

Elite Talent Hub in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on a major construction project. Based on 3+ years' experience, you will manage design reviews, coordinate with BIM and site teams, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering; electrical trade background is a plus.
• 3+ years' experience delivering electrical packages on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services, commissioning and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing electrical design reviews and resolving technical queries.
• Coordinating technical submittals and approvals.
• Supporting procurement and tracking the delivery of electrical equipment.
• Coordinating CAD/BIM activities with the in-house BIM team.
• Monitoring engineering progress and maintaining project trackers.
• Carrying out site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Supporting commissioning, testing, BCAR compliance and project handover.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and supporting continuous improvement.
