Job summary

SVP in Dublin is seeking a Lead Early Years Educator to join the Children & Family Services team at Ozanam House, Mountjoy Square. This permanent full-time role (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday) involves leading a classroom with a morning pre-school and an afternoon after‑school group, developing, implementing and overseeing the childcare programme.

The successful candidate will hold QQI Level 7 or higher in Early Childhood Care and have at least two years' experience with preschool children, with

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 or higher in Early Childhood Care.
• At least 2 years' experience with preschool children.
• Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
• Community or voluntary sector experience is an advantage.
• Experience with volunteers and students is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the childcare programme in the assigned room.
• Develop and implement the daily schedule for pre-school and after-school groups.
• Act as principal instructor in the classroom.
• Collaborate with SVP teams to support volunteers and families.
• Ensure Garda Vetting and satisfactory references are completed.
