Job summary

SVP Dublin is seeking an Early Years Educator to join the Ozanam House Children & Family team. This permanent part-time role (15 hours/week) runs Monday to Friday 9am–12pm at Ozanam House, Dublin.

The educator supports high-quality early childhood care and education in a safe, nurturing environment. Candidates must have QQI Level 5+ in Early Childhood Care (or equivalent recognised by the DCEDIY) with at least 1 year of experience with preschool children.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5+ in Early Childhood Care (or equivalent recognised by DCEDIY) with at least 1 year of professional experience with pre-school children.
• Strong knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
• Experience in community or voluntary sector is an advantage.
• Experience working with volunteers and students is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Support delivery of high-quality early childhood care and education.
• Work closely with Lead Early Years Educators and other team members to support children's well-being.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment in line with policies.
