Job summary

SVP in Dublin is seeking an Early Years Educator for Ozanam House Community Resource Centre. This permanent part-time role (22.5 hours per week) runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm, supporting high-quality early childhood care and education in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 or higher in Early Childhood Care (or equivalent and recognised by the DCEDIY) with at least 1 year of professional experience working with pre-school children.
• Good knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
• Experience in the community or voluntary sector is an advantage.
• Experience of working with volunteers and students is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the provision of high-quality early childhood care and education in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that foster development.
• Work closely with Lead Early Years Educators, the manager, and the team to support children’s well‑being.
• Follow Ozanam House policies and regulatory standards to ensure safety and care.
