Job summary

Horizon Controls Group is seeking a DeltaV Engineer to provide lead level guidance and oversee automation aspects of projects in a world-leading bioprocess facility in Meath. The role focuses on developing, implementing and managing project execution for automation to ensure high-quality deliverables in line with company policies.

You will work with a diverse team to design and implement DeltaV-based solutions, act as a technical lead on medium to large projects, and help evolve automation

Qualifications

• BS in engineering field; 5+ years industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years DeltaV configuration experience (Batch and Continuous).
• Experience leading medium to large DeltaV projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation services and lead a team of Process Automation System engineers.
• Develop design documentation: DFDS, specs, P&IDs.
• Configure DeltaV Control Systems from narratives and P&IDs; use Function Blocks; Structured Text and Sequential Function Charts.
• Support safety instrumented systems and process control strategies.
